Our founder and primary seamstress, is an accomplished designer, skilled seamstress, and all-round creator with a degree in fashion design from the Columbus College of Art and Design. After a stint in retail management, she moved into the exciting world of costume designing, where she honed her skills creating eye-catching, personalized mascots for a locally owned business in Ohio. Now, she brings that same passion and expertise to The Village Seamstress, combining an eye for design with a meticulous attention to detail. She is committed to providing top-quality alterations, as well as bespoke design services. Sewing is not just her profession but her passion. She enjoys every aspect of the creative process and derives great joy from transforming fabric into a garment that fits perfectly and makes the wearer feel confident and stylish. She noticed a gap in the local market for quality alterations and sewing services and seized the opportunity to launch her own business - a long-held dream since her days at CCAD. The Village Seamstress is born out of her love for her craft and her desire to meet the needs of her community.
